Why did Les Feldick go through the plan of salvation from Scripture in this program?
He went through the plan of salvation from Scripture because a question arose in his Tulsa class asking him to do so. The class appreciated it, several requested a repeat, and he also did it in the Muscogee class. On this program he presents it so viewers whose interest is stirred can request all the verses.
Les explains that a few weeks earlier, the question came up in his Tulsa class whether he would go through the plan of salvation using the Scriptures. He did, and many were appreciative. The next week several asked him to repeat it, so he repeated it, and he thinks he did the same in the Muscogee class. R.L. made notes of it, typed out all the verses, and Iris made copies. For the television audience, if the 30 minutes perks their interest and they would like all those verses, they can write and the verses will be sent. The teaching then asks how one can know they are in Christ and have eternal life, stressing that it is always based on faith, taking God at His Word, and he starts with Romans 3:23.
