Who is under the Ten Commandments according to Romans 7?

Scripture describes the lost person as subject to the Mosaic law, the Ten Commandments. Whether they admit it or not, they remain under God's anathema and cannot escape those commandments, and one day will be judged by that law at the great white throne.

Les teaches that the lost person, whether irreligious or even an atheist, is still under the demands of the Mosaic law, the Ten Commandments. These commandments hang over him, and he cannot escape them. When he commits adultery, steals, kills, or does anything contrary to the law, he is under the very anathema of God. One day, before the great white throne, he will be judged according to that law. The law itself is perfect, righteous, holy, and eternal—it is the eternal mind of God revealed to mankind, not merely Old Testament stuff to be written off. Les explains that the only way to come out from under that demand is to die—not physically, but in the old Adam.
