How has God been dealing with the entire human race for the last 1900 years?

For the last 1900-plus years, God has dealt with the entire human race—both Gentiles and the nation of Israel—on the basis of His grace. This grace-based dealing means people are not under law or Judaic legalism but are saved by believing Christ died and rose, plus nothing.

Les explains that when God introduced the gospel of grace, Gentiles were no longer subject to the Judaic system or its legalism; they were set free. The gospel is simply believing that Christ died and rose again, plus nothing for salvation. This does not mean believers stop there—they are created unto good works and move on. Paul taught that they should not give in to old Adam but live above his desires, having the indwelling Holy Spirit and Christ as head of daily living. Old Adam will not have dominion because they are not under law but under grace. For the last 1900-plus years, God has dealt with the whole human race, including Israel, on the basis of His grace. Les notes that very few, even among Christendom, truly understand the grace of God; it is beyond human comprehension.
