When should a Christian be ready to explain the Bible?
A Christian should be ready to explain the Bible whenever the Lord creates interest in a person and that person begins to ask questions. Believers should not force Scripture on anyone, but must be prepared with all the Scripture at their command to bring them to a knowledge of what the book says.
Les explains that it is not part of the Christian endeavor to corner people and force these things down their throats. He says you do not grab somebody by the chest and say, 'Now listen to me, I've got something you have to hear.' Instead, as the Lord creates interest in them and they begin to ask questions, then you should have both barrels loaded and be ready with all the Scripture at your command, able to bring them to a knowledge of what the book is trying to say.
