What did God do to restore fallen creatures after Adam fell?
God decreed that all who came from Adam would be fallen creatures, yet He did everything to bring that fallen creature back to his original state if they would believe. Restoration has always been by faith. Through Jesus Christ, God reconciled the human race, paid the debt, and made everything possible to bring men back to Himself.
Les explains that God created Adam innocent, sinless, and perfect, but Adam fell. God then decreed that everyone coming from Adam would be a fallen creature. However, God did everything to bring that fallen creature back to his original state if they would just believe. Les emphasizes it has always been by faith: Adam was restored into fellowship by faith, Eve was restored into fellowship by faith, and all the way up through the Old Testament it was by faith. Through the person of Jesus Christ, God reconciled the human race, paid the debt, made everything possible, and did everything possible to bring men back to Himself.
