Was there any hint of circumcision or the Mosaic Law in the first 2,000 years?

No. During the first 2,000 years there was no hint of circumcision or the Mosaic Law. Abraham came out of Ur of the Chaldees as a non-Jew, and God dealt with him while he was still in idolatry. He believed and was justified before circumcision was ever implemented.

Les teaches that for the first 2,000 years there had been no hint of circumcision and no hint of the Mosaic Law. Abraham came out of Ur of the Chaldees and was Assyrian by birth, a non-Jew, because the nation of Israel was not yet on the scene. God dealt with him while he was still in Ur of the Chaldees, in the midst of idolatry, and told him to leave and go to a place God would show him. By faith Abraham left, not after circumcision was implemented, but before. Later he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of the faith he had while yet uncircumcised. So he came into this justification position before circumcision had even been mentioned to him. This ties Abraham to all who believe, including uncircumcised Gentiles, so that righteousness might be imputed to them also.
