In Romans 2, are morally good people also guilty before God?

In Romans 2, morally good people are also guilty before God. God builds His case against humanity, moving from the grossly immoral to the moral, and declares that they are just as guilty. Morality does not exempt anyone from God's judgment.

Les teaches that in Romans chapter 2, verse 1, God takes the second segment of humanity—the moral people—and builds His case against them. Having already addressed the grossly immoral, God now shows that the moral person is just as guilty. So being morally good does not remove guilt before God.

Romans 2:1

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
