Did God promise to bring Israel back after He uprooted them?

Yes. God providentially uprooted Israel because of their unbelief, yet He promised, “I’m going to bring you back again, in My own time I’m going to bring you back.” The Old Testament repeatedly declares this, showing God would still deal with His national people Israel.

Les explains that God had to let the Temple be destroyed in 70 A.D., and the nation was dispersed and the land emptied of them. But even while God providentially uprooted them because of their unbelief, He promised to bring them back again in His own time. Les says all the Old Testament screams of that promise, and we should be aware that God is still going to deal with His national people of Israel. He also notes that Palestine has always been the homeland of the Jew and that cannot be taken away.
