Who is the way into God's very presence available to after Christ died?
After Christ died, the way into God's very presence was opened and made available to everybody, not merely to the high priest on the Day of Atonement. The veil was rent from top to bottom, so man could look right into the holy of holies.
Les explains that the way into the very holiest of holies, the very presence of God, had been opened up and made available, not just to the high priest on the Day of Atonement, but to everybody. When Christ died, He so completely fulfilled everything a holy God could demand that salvation is not by human doing; man's attempts to add his own works are an embarrassment to God because it is done. Everything needed has already been accomplished, the righteousness of God has been unveiled, and the veil was rent from top to bottom, allowing man to look right into the holy of holies. The justified ones are those God declares just as if they had never sinned.
