What will happen when the church returns to the fundamentals of Paul's teaching?

When the church returns to the fundamentals of Paul's teaching, some things will happen. If it does not, nothing will happen and things will get worse. This applies to all who claim to believe the Bible, regardless of denominational label. The context stresses Paul's epistles speak to today.

Les explains that when he talks about the church, he means that whole realm of people who claim to believe the Bible, regardless of what denominational handle they wear. He says that when the church gets back into the fundamentals of Paul, then he thinks we're going to see some things happen. If it doesn't, we're not going to see anything happen, and things are going to get worse. He notes that teaching Paul's epistles is teaching where we are right now—today, tomorrow, next week, next month—even though it may be harder to keep people's attention than prophecy or Genesis. The return to Paul's fundamentals is therefore presented as critical for the church today.
