To whom was most of the Bible before Paul's epistles directed?

From Genesis 12 until Paul's epistles, most of the Bible was directed primarily, if not exclusively, to the Jew, especially while Israel was under the law. Paul was later commissioned at Damascus to go far hence to the Gentiles, marking a new direction in Scripture.

Les explains that everything from Genesis 12 onward until Paul's epistles was directed primarily, if not exclusively, to the Jew, especially as Israel was under the law. He contrasts that with Paul, who at his conversion at Damascus was commissioned when God told Ananias He would send him far hence to the Gentile. God later took Paul into the desert and gave him revelations he refers to in Galatians chapter 1. Les notes Paul's pen contains things not found elsewhere in the Bible, yet Paul also says all Scripture is inspired and profitable. Therefore, we should spend much time in Paul's epistles and funnel back and forth throughout the rest of Scripture.
