Les Feldick Bible Study

Who does Les think are the two greatest human beings who ever lived besides Christ?

Besides Christ Himself, the two greatest human beings who ever lived are Moses and the Apostle Paul, also called Saul. Moses stands on the front side, while Saul, later Paul, stands on this side. They are ranked second only to Christ.

Les explains that, other than Christ Himself, he considers Moses and Paul to be the two greatest human beings who have ever lived. Moses is on the front side, while Saul, now known as Paul, is on this side. Les then traces Paul's early ministry in Galatians 1: God called him by grace, brought him out of Damascus, and took him into Arabia, probably to Mount Sinai, for three years, where God poured out the revelations that would come through the apostles' pen in the epistles—except the prison epistles, which Les views as further revelation, probably given while Paul was imprisoned at Caesarea. After three years Paul went up to Jerusalem to see Peter and stayed fifteen days, seeing no other apostles except James, the Lord's brother, who later served as moderator by Acts 15. Paul affirms, "The things which I write unto you, behold, before God I lie not."
