Does Paul give instructions on how to cast out demons in his letters?
No. Paul’s letters provide no instruction for exorcism or casting out demons. In his epistles he is silent on the subject, offering no method, command, or teaching for exorcism. The only related direction is to lead someone into the plan of salvation.
Les teaches that the events being discussed are still in Acts, before any of Paul’s letters were written. Paul’s earliest letter was probably Thessalonians or Corinthians, around 58, Romans around 60, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians around 64, and the Timothys and Titus around 66. As Paul received revelation and wrote epistles that became the Word of God, you no longer see so much of this as in his early ministry. After casting the demon out of the young lady in Philippi, Paul’s epistles never give one ounce of instruction for exorcism. Les explains that he never finds Paul teaching how to cast out demons; Paul is silent. Aside from leading someone to salvation, Les personally thinks we are to leave it alone. He has seen people get too involved with demonism and exorcism, and it destroyed their ministry and took them out of the ministry. Les says he does not set that in concrete, but he can find nothing in Paul’s letters giving instructions on taking someone and casting demons out, except to lead them into the plan of salvation.
