What happened when the Lord opened Lydia's heart?
When the Lord opened Lydia's heart, she attended to the things spoken by Paul. Though she had been a worshipper of God, she was still lost until the Lord opened her heart, enabling her to heed Paul's message.
Les explains that Lydia was a seller of purple cloth from Thyatira, a city known for its purple dyes. She worshipped God and was sincere and devoted, yet she was still lost. When she heard Paul, the Lord opened her heart, and she attended to the things spoken by Paul. So the Lord's opening of her heart produced her positive response to Paul's message.
