What does it mean that God will build again the tabernacle of David?

It means God will restore Israel's temple and the whole sphere of Israel's kingdom, not the church. After the church is called out and removed, God resumes working with the nation of Israel, rebuilding David's fallen tabernacle, finishing what He started with Israel, and bringing Gentiles to seek the Lord.

Les explains that the tabernacle of David was the temple and the whole sphere of Israel's kingdom, so this promise concerns Israel's future. After the calling out of the church, the body, is accomplished and lifted off the earth, God will again start working with the nation of Israel. He will return, build again the fallen tabernacle of David, rebuild its ruins, set it up, and finish what He started with Israel. Then the residue of men and Gentiles upon whom His name is called will seek the Lord. The Jew in Palestine is the beginning of this, with Antichrist first, then the true Christ.

Acts 15:16
