What made Saul the man with all the answers that the Gentile believers needed?
Saul had three years of revelations that no one else had received, giving him the answers for Gentiles. Barnabas went to Tarsus to find him and brought him to Antioch, where Gentiles were entering the assembly and he had the message for them.
Les explains that when Barnabas saw the sudden influx of Gentiles into the assembly at Antioch, the Holy Spirit moved him to go looking for Saul. Why? Because Saul had the message for Gentiles. Barnabas traveled up into the river valley where Tarsus was located in Cilicia, just around the corner from Antioch in Syria, for the distinct purpose of finding Saul. Les points out that Saul had now had three years of revelations that no one else had had; he was the man who had all the answers. When Barnabas found him, he brought him to Antioch, as verse 26 says.
