Where were the scattered believers from Jerusalem migrating to?

The scattered believers from Jerusalem were migrating up to Antioch, north of Palestine, in the area known today as Lebanon and Syria. This occurred about twelve to thirteen years after Pentecost. Some of them, when they came to Antioch, preached the Lord Jesus to the Grecians.

Les explains that the twelve disciples were not going to leave Jerusalem, but all the rest of the believers had been scattered. By Acts chapter 11, the chronology is about twelve to thirteen years after Pentecost, beyond Saul’s conversion, around 41–42. These believers who had been scattered out from Jerusalem were more or less migrating up to Antioch, north of Palestine, in the area of what we would call Lebanon today. Some of those scattered were men of Cyprus and Cyrene. When they came to Antioch, they spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus. Les notes this is a flashback to the seven years after Pentecost, at the time of Stephen’s death.
