From when and where was the fellowship of the mystery hidden?
The fellowship of the mystery was hidden from the beginning of the world, or the age. It was kept hidden in God, the same God who created all things by Jesus Christ. Paul writes that this secret had been concealed from the beginning, not revealed until the dispensation of God given to him.
Les teaches that the fellowship of the mystery, or secret, was hidden from the beginning of the world or age. He notes that one of the names of deity in Genesis is the God who is everlasting and capable of hiding things, and that hiding is His prerogative. Les emphasizes that God kept it hid from the beginning, hid in God, the same God who created all things by Jesus Christ. He then turns to Colossians 1, where Paul speaks of being made a minister according to the dispensation of God given to him for the church, to fulfill the word of God, showing the mystery was concealed until God revealed it through Paul's ministry.
