When was the church mystery first revealed, and to whom?

The church mystery was not made known in other ages or generations; it was first revealed in the present age to His holy apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. Paul specifically received grace to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ and to make all see the fellowship of the mystery.

Les explains that you find absolutely nothing of the church in the four Gospels because God had not seen fit to reveal this secret, the body of truth involving the church. In other ages or generations it was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now. Now it is revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. Paul says that unto him, less than the least of all saints, this grace was given: to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ and to make all see the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world or the age, the human experience, had been—past tense—not made known.
