When did the Jewish people return to their land after the dispersion?
After the dispersion that followed the Roman destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, the Jewish people returned to the land beginning in the early 1900s. In 1948 they became a sovereign state, and subsequent events have been preparing for prophetic fulfillment.
Les explains that after Israel had seven years of constantly rejecting Peter and the eleven and their appeal, God gave up on the nation of Israel and set them aside. Then, just a few years later, the Roman armies destroyed the temple and Jerusalem, and the Jewish people went into a dispersion. That dispersion lasted until our generation, as they came back into the land since the early 1900s, and in 1948 they became a sovereign state. Les says everything taking place now for the last forty-some years is getting ready for the fulfillment of the prophetic Word.
