Who took Christianity out to the Gentile world?
The Apostle Paul took Christianity out to the Gentile world. Although many say Jesus Christ introduced Christianity, Jesus is its foundation, and Paul carried the message beyond Israel to the Gentiles. Paul is introduced in Scripture as Saul of Tarsus.
Les explains that as Israel rejects everything concerning the Christ, the man now going to the Gentiles without benefit of Israel is introduced. This is Saul of Tarsus, later the Apostle Paul. Les notes that a news magazine cover story on men who made an impact on history credited Paul with introducing Christianity. Normally people say Jesus Christ introduced Christianity, and Jesus is the foundation and basis, but it was the Apostle Paul who took it out to the Gentile world. Les says next to Christ, Paul and Moses are the two greatest men who ever lived and had the greatest impact on human history.
