What were the Psalms warning Israel about their chief cornerstone?
The Psalms repeatedly warned Israel that their chief cornerstone would be rejected and laid aside, yet He would become their stone of stumbling. It was a repeated warning, not a single mention, and it specifically concerned Israel's coming chief cornerstone.
Les explains that over and over, beginning way back in the Psalms, Israel is warned that their chief corner stone would be rejected and laid aside, but He would become their stone of stumbling. He notes he could almost teach for an hour on just the Scripture verses that deal with this aspect, showing how significant this warning is throughout Scripture.
