Where is the kingdom now and what happens to believers when they are saved?
The kingdom is now centered in heaven. According to Paul in Colossians, the moment a person is saved, he is translated into that heavenly kingdom. It is the same kingdom that will yet come back on the earth, where believers will rule and reign with Him.
Les teaches that the kingdom was offered to Israel when the King was present, but Israel rejected the King and the kingdom, so the Lord went back to heaven. The kingdom is therefore now centered in heaven. Colossians, from Paul’s pen, says that the moment a believer is saved, he is translated into that kingdom in heaven. Yet it is the same kingdom, because it is still going to come back on the earth, and believers will rule and reign with Him. Les also notes that Paul’s epistles later reveal how God deals with Gentiles under grace, not the Mosaic system.
