What is the admonition in the closing verse of Acts 3?

The admonition in the closing verse of Acts 3 is that every Jew should become a believer. If they did, there would have been no problem, because no unbeliever will ever enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This aligns with the earlier point that if Israel had repented, no unbelieving Jews would go in.

Les explains that Peter is still speaking to the great crowd of Jews and remains on covenant ground. The admonition in the closing verse is for every Jew to become a believer, and then there would have been no problem. This follows the principle Jesus stated in John’s Gospel chapter 3: except a man be born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If Israel had repented, there would have been no unbelieving Jews go in, but no unbeliever will ever go into the Kingdom of Heaven.
