Why did Christ give Himself for our sins according to Paul?

According to Paul, Christ gave Himself for our sins so that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. Paul's emphasis is that He died for us and commended His love toward us while we were yet sinners.

Les teaches from Galatians chapter 1 that Paul presents Christ as the One who gave Himself for our sins so He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father. He emphasizes that Paul's theme is that Christ died for us and commended His love toward us while we were yet sinners. Les contrasts this with Peter's message, where Peter says, 'You killed Him,' and explains that Peter's sermon does not fit Paul's doctrine, because God had not yet revealed Paul's message; it was still a secret kept in the mind of God.
