How much of the Bible do most church members actually know?

Les teaches that the average professing Christian is in reality a practicing secular humanist. They claim to be believers and Christians, but in the workaday world they fit right in with secular humanism because they are so ignorant of the Bible. He clarifies that ignorant does not mean short on brainpower; rather, most church members are totally ignorant of this book. They know just a little bit of the stuff they have scratched off the surface. Consequently, with so little biblical knowledge, they can embrace secular humanism and not even know what they are doing. Les wants people to wake up and realize there is so much in this book to learn that will help as a nation in day-to-day living, experience, and good citizenship. He also notes that young people have no sense of right and wrong because they do not know what this book says.
