What did Stephen teach about Israel recognizing the Messiah at His second coming?

Stephen taught that Israel will recognize the Messiah at His second coming, just as Joseph was recognized the second time. Moses was rejected at his first coming but followed at his second; likewise, Israel rejected Christ first but will acclaim Him when He comes again.

Les explains that Stephen's lesson from Joseph and Moses is that the second time brings things to the full. Joseph was recognized at his second time, so Israel will recognize the Messiah the second time. Moses came first and was rejected, but when he came the second time, they followed him, and he became their deliverer. The same thing is true with Christ: the first time Israel rejected Him, but the second time they are going to acclaim Him.

Acts 7:30

And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

Acts 7:35

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
