How will the last three and a half years of the Tribulation compare to the Holocaust?
The last three and a half years of the Tribulation will be far worse than the Holocaust. The Holocaust, though awful, will seem almost like a Sunday school picnic by comparison. Israel will face terrible days, be overrun by Gentile armies, and receive no mercy.
Les explains that the nation of Israel will go through terrible days in the closing three and a half years of the Tribulation. He compares that period to the Holocaust of Nazi Germany, saying it will be almost like a Sunday school picnic. He does not belittle the Holocaust, calling it awful, but says that compared to these last three and a half years, it was nothing. That suffering is still facing Israel. They will be overrun by Gentile armies; the city will be taken, houses rifled, and there will be no mercy. Half the city will go into captivity, but the residue will not be cut off. When it appears Satan will succeed in destroying Israel through these Gentile hordes, then the Lord—Jehovah, the Lord Christ—will go forth from heaven to fight against those nations as when He fought in the day of battle.
