Why can't we practice certain biblical practices today?
The reason we cannot practice certain biblical practices today is that we are not under those circumstances. However, we can learn from them about the mind of God, His righteousness, His holiness, and we must be careful how we use the Scriptures.
Les explains that certain biblical practices were given for specific circumstances, such as Israel's requirement for signs and miracles. Since we are not under those circumstances, we cannot practice them today. Instead, we can learn from them about the mind of God, His righteousness, and His holiness. Les also warns that we must be careful how we use the Scriptures, because Satan can counterfeit signs and miracles, as Egypt's magicians did, and his power is still active.
