What is the scriptural law about the natural and the spiritual order?

The scriptural law is that the spiritual does not come first; the natural comes first, and afterward the spiritual. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15 that the first man Adam was a living soul, earthy, while the last Adam is a quickening spirit, the Lord from heaven.

Les teaches that this is a law of Scripture: first the natural, then the spiritual. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul agrees with Luke's Gospel that Jesus is the son of man, yet He never stopped being God. Verse 45 says the first man Adam was made a living soul, and the last Adam a quickening spirit. Verse 46 states that the spiritual was not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. Verse 47 identifies the first man as of the earth, earthy—that was Adam—and the second man as the Lord from heaven. This order shows His humanity, while John's Gospel later presents His deity.

1 Corinthians 15:46

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
