Les explains that some people have counted approximately 360-some distinct prophecies concerning His first coming, including His death, burial, resurrection, His ascension, and His coming again. He notes the Old Testament was full of these things, but they were given in such veiled language that the people did not know what it was talking about. Even the prophets themselves could not understand. Les points out that Peter and John, who were closest to Him, had no idea He was going to die, and after He was dead they had no idea He was going to be resurrected.
