Les Feldick Bible Study

What will God do for the remnant of Israel in the wilderness?

God will prepare a place in the wilderness for the escaping remnant of Israel. He will protect them there and provide all their needs, feeding them for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, which is three and a half years, just as He miraculously provided for Israel in the Exodus.

Les explains that the woman, described as the cross section of Jews in Matthew 24, flees into the wilderness, a more or less uninhabited area. There she has a place prepared of God. The Israeli government or the rabbis are not going to do it, but God will prepare a place for this escaping remnant. The Godhead will feed her for a thousand two hundred and sixty days, which is three and a half years. So the remnant of Israel will have escaped to a place where God will protect them and provide all their needs. Les parallels this with the Exodus, where God providentially and miraculously brought the nation out under Moses, took them into the wilderness, and provided all their food needs.

Revelation 12:6

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
