What is the end result or purpose of the Tribulation wrath?
The end result of the Tribulation wrath is to pay off the curse so that the earth can come out from under it, be delivered from it, and go into the Millennial reign of Christ. This double-barreled attack of God's and Satan's wrath prepares the planet for the Millennium.
Les teaches that the Tribulation is a double-barreled attack on mankind, consisting of the wrath of God and the wrath of Satan, with all of nature feeling it. He explains that at the midpoint Satan is cast out of heaven, knowing he has only three and a half years left. However, the ultimate end result is to pay off the curse so the earth can come out from under it, be delivered from it, and go into the Millennial reign of Christ. Les also illustrates how quickly God can prepare the planet for the Millennium by referring to Mt. St. Helens, where the ecology recovered miraculously fast after the volcano, even though it seemed devastated.
