What happens after the body of Christ is finally complete and the church is removed?
After the body of Christ is completed, the last person is saved, and the church is removed in the rapture, God resumes His work with Israel. Israel’s spiritual blindness comes to an end, and the Jewish people begin again a spiritual relationship with their Jehovah God.
Les explains that Israel’s blindness is only “in part” and only “until” the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. The fullness of the Gentiles is the body of Christ. When that body is finally filled, the last person has been saved, and the church is removed—as Les teaches the rapture—then God will pick up where He left off with Israel, the Jew. At that point Israel’s spiritual blindness will more or less come to an end, and they will again have a spiritual relationship with their Jehovah God. He also connects this to Matthew 23, where Israel would not see Him, and He would be moved from their midst and return to glory.
