Where were the twelve apostles still meeting in the early chapters of Acts, and were they still under the law?

In the early chapters of Acts, the twelve apostles were still meeting at the temple for prayer. They had not been told they were no longer under the law; the law was still in force during that period. This reflects their continued temple worship under the law.

Les explains that in Christ’s earthly ministry there is nothing of the church, and no church language appears there. It is Christ dealing under the law with the Jew under the law. He illustrates this: when Jesus healed lepers, He sent them to the priests because the law demanded it; when the rich young ruler asked about eternal life, Jesus told him to keep the commandments. Even in the early chapters of Acts, the twelve apostles are still meeting at the temple for prayer. No one has told them they are not under the law, and the law was still in force. Les says never lose sight of that.
