Can someone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit still be saved?

Yes. Someone could blaspheme the Holy Spirit, and God can still save him tomorrow or next week; he remains a candidate for the grace of God. The only sin that condemns is unbelief concerning the gospel. The unpardonable sin concerns Israel nationally rejecting the Holy Spirit.

Les explains that he is qualifying his view and acknowledges others may disagree, but he maintains that someone could blaspheme the Holy Spirit and God can still save him tomorrow or next week; he is still a candidate for the grace of God. Les stresses that the only sin that condemns is unbelief concerning the gospel. The unpardonable sin, however, is dealing with Israel as the nation. Israel rejected the Father's overtures by killing the prophets and rejected the Son by killing the Christ. Then the question is how they will deal with the Holy Spirit, because that is the unpardonable part—how they deal with the third person of the Trinity. At Acts chapter 6, with the appointment of the seven men normally called deacons, the nation is dealing with the Holy Spirit, and Israel nationally comes under this anathema.
