What must a person believe to be saved in this age of grace?

To be saved in this age of grace, a person must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and that He went to the cross and shed His blood. Salvation comes by grace through faith in His blood, not by works, as Romans 3:23-25 teaches.

Les teaches that believing Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, is foundational but not enough to save anyone in this age of grace. He explains that a person must also believe that Christ went to the cruel cross and shed His blood. Les points to Romans 3:23, where all have sinned and come short of God's glory, and Romans 3:24, where sinners are justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus. He emphasizes that God set forth Christ as a propitiation through faith in His blood, and that grace is the total opposite of works.
