Les Feldick Bible Study

Will Christ need advisors, a cabinet, or people to advise Him when He rules?

No. When Christ comes to rule, He will not need advisors, a cabinet, or people to give Him advice. He will not judge by what He sees or reprove by what He hears or is reported. His power and authority are absolute, and He will rule with righteousness, absolute fairness, and no corruption.

Les explains that today we expect a president to pick out good men who can cover various areas of national life and report intelligently to him, because one man cannot keep his finger on every aspect of a huge nation. But when Christ comes to rule, He won't need advisors, He won't need a cabinet, and He won't need people to come and give Him advice. He won't have to judge by what He sees, whether reports or whatever, and He won't have to reprove or react to what someone has told or reported to Him. His power and authority are so absolute that these things won't be necessary. Verse 4 says He will rule with righteousness, absolute fairness, and no corruption.
