What is Les Feldick's goal in teaching through the book of Matthew?
The goal is not to go verse by verse through every chapter but to cover the highlights of Matthew while tracing the overall theme of God's dealing with the human race from Genesis to Revelation, occasionally turning to Luke, Mark, and John.
Les explains that when he teaches the Gospels, he does not usually go through all four of them verse by verse, because it is not all repetition. In Matthew, he intends to cover most of the highlights he wants to bring out, even if they occasionally go into Luke, Mark, and John's Gospel.
