Did the Old Testament reveal the 2,000-year period when God is not dealing with Israel?

No. The Old Testament gave no indication of a 2,000-year interval in which Israel would be set aside and the Church Age would replace God’s dealing with Israel. That period remained a secret, unrevealed until after Israel rejected the King and Kingdom and Jesus was crucified and returned to heaven.

Les explains that after Israel rejected the King and the Kingdom, Jesus was crucified and went back to heaven. Rather than immediately coming after the Tribulation, He would now wait 2,000 years while Israel has been set aside and the Church Age has run its course. Les stresses that this was not in the Old Testament. There was nothing there at all to indicate that there would be 1,900-some years when God is not dealing with Israel, because God had not revealed that yet. It was part of the secret, something God had not given any indication of beforehand.
