How long do the rabbis in Les's anecdote think the tribulation will last?
According to the Jewish gentleman’s report, the rabbis expect the Tribulation to be a relatively short, terrible period, not seven years’ worth. They acknowledge it will be awful for the Jew, but they differ from the seven-year teaching, holding that it will be shorter.
Les explains that an Orthodox Judaistic Jewish gentleman who watches his program relayed what he heard at a seminar of rabbis. The rabbis were excited because they were convinced they were right at the coming of the Messiah. When Les asked what the rabbis do with the seven years of Tribulation, the gentleman said the only difference from what Les teaches is that it will be awful for the Jew, but not seven years’ worth. Instead, they believe it will be a relatively short, terrible period, with Jews coming under horrible events, but not for seven years.
