How did Christ become visible and tangible in the New Testament?
In the New Testament, the invisible person of the Godhead became flesh and thereby became visible and tangible. Christ did not begin at Bethlehem; He is eternal, from eternity past to eternity future, and was manifested through the Old Testament before His birth of Mary.
Les explains that Christ was eternity past to eternity future, so He did not first appear at Bethlehem when born of Mary. He came on the scene in Genesis chapter 1 in creation, because God the Son, Christ, called everything into being. He was manifested all the way up through the Old Testament. Then, in the New Testament, the invisible person of the Godhead became flesh, became visible, and became tangible, though He has always been.
