Do children born during the millennial kingdom have a sinful Adamic nature?
Children born during the millennial kingdom will still be born with the same old Adamic nature as their parents. Though Christ reigns benevolently and Satan is bound, they inherit that sinful nature and must personally exercise free will, choosing for or against God. Satan is later released to present options, as he tempted Eve.
Les teaches that even though these newborn children come from believers and will have no opportunity for out-and-out rebellion because no satanic force is operating and Christ rules with absolute benevolent power as King, they will nevertheless all be born with the same old Adamic nature their parents were born with. Revelation therefore says Satan must be released for a little season. This whole new generation of children who have never had to make a choice for or against God must be brought to a place of choosing and must exercise their free will, even as everyone else had to do. There is only one way to give a choice: there must be more than one option. So Satan is brought back for the sole purpose of giving these new generations, who never before had to make a choice, that opportunity. He is given full opportunity again to present his options, just as he did to Eve in the garden. It will be that same type of temptation, because the Kingdom has been so glorious. Who could want anything different or better? Eve had it that good, but Satan's ploy was, “You can be like God.” Les suggests the same thing will happen here: Satan will tempt those new generations with the concept, “Yes, you've got it perfect, but you're still not God.”
