Les Feldick Bible Study

How are the lost's resurrected bodies different from believers' resurrected bodies?

The lost are resurrected out of hell to stand before the great white throne in resurrected bodies, but those bodies are not as glorious as believers' bodies. The lost lack believers' benefits and receive a resurrected body fit for the lake of fire, which is not consumed or burned up.

Les explains that lost people will be resurrected out of hell, and the great white throne is strictly for unbelievers, not believers. The dead of all ages, small and great, stand before God in their resurrected bodies. However, they are not in resurrected bodies as glorious as believers' bodies and will not have all the benefits believers will have. Instead, they receive a resurrected body fit for the lake of fire, which must be the case because that fire is not consumed or burned up. Believers, meanwhile, are in their heavenly state and particular positions according to their groups and will not come before the great white throne.
