Who else is included in the first resurrection besides the church?
Besides the church, the first resurrection includes the saints who came out of the graves at Christ's resurrection as firstfruits, plus Old Testament believers and Tribulation believers who lost their lives. All are believers from Adam until the end, forming the first resurrection.
Les explains that the first resurrection is the resurrection of the believer, and it was in three parts. The first group of resurrected saints came out of the graves at the time of Christ's resurrection and became the firstfruits. Then at the rapture, the great resurrection day of the body of Christ, the largest group is included. Finally, Old Testament believers and Tribulation believers who lost their lives will be resurrected, probably 75 days after Christ returns, as seen from Daniel. So all believers of all the ages, from Adam until the end, are in what the Bible calls the first resurrection.
