Who is made part of the body of Christ?

Every genuine born-again believer is placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit at the moment of faith. Paul states that all are included: Jew or Gentile, bond or free, weak or strong, rich or poor. This worldwide congregation becomes part of Christ's body, not by denomination but by God's invisible act.

Les teaches that this baptism is one no organization or denomination can adhere to, because it is beyond human administration; only the invisible Almighty Spirit of God can do it. It happens the moment a person believes the gospel, as a result of salvation. Immediately the Holy Spirit places the believer into this body of Christ. The whole worldwide congregation of genuine born-again people becomes part and parcel of that body. Paul says all are placed into the body, whether Jew or Gentile, bond or free, weak or strong, rich or poor—the equalizing factor. Les illustrates this unity by noting that genuine believers are never strangers for long, like entering a room of unknown young people and feeling as if he had known them all his life.
