What happens after we come through the bema seat?
After passing through the bema seat in glory, the next aspect is the wedding. This wedding is expected to take place in heaven while the Tribulation occurs on earth, and it unites Christ the Lamb with the Body, the Church.
Les explains that after believers come through the bema seat in glory, the next aspect is the wedding. He feels this wedding will be in heaven while the Tribulation is here on earth, and it is the wedding between Christ the Lamb and the Body, the Church. Paul, since he writes concerning the Church, makes much of Christ and His Body, the Church. In Romans 7:4, Paul writes that believers have become dead to the law—the Mosaic system—by the Body of Christ, so it no longer has power over them. Yet they are not simply dead and forgotten; they are to be married to another, even to Him who was raised from the dead, that they should bring forth fruit unto God. This begins in the earthly sojourn: as soon as a person becomes a child of God and a member of the Body of Christ through faith in the Gospel, they are already connected to Christ, joint heirs with Him, with He as Head and believers as members of the Body. Ephesians gives deeper aspects of our position in Christ.
