Whose glorious liberty will the creation be delivered into?
The creation will be delivered into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Scripture describes the whole creation as groaning under the bondage of corruption, awaiting deliverance from the curse, and it will share in the freedom that belongs to God’s children.
Les teaches that the creation shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. He explains that everything is under the bondage of corruption, sin and death, and the whole creation groans and travails under the curse. This includes not just man but the flowers, birds, trees, animal kingdom, and rocks. Les points out that all creation is aware of the Creator, and the rocks would cry out if people were silenced. Creation is waiting for the great day of deliverance from the curse, and believers also groan, longing for that day.
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
