Will believers receive rewards based on their Christian walk on earth?
Yes. Scripture teaches that believers will receive rewards based on their Christian walk in this life on earth. These rewards will come to fruition primarily in the Kingdom economy, where ruling and reigning with Christ brings levels of responsibility based on faithfulness here.
Les explains that many do not like the concept of rewards, but it is biblical. Believers will definitely get reward based on their Christian walk in this life here on earth. Those rewards will come to their fruition primarily in the Kingdom economy. When the Kingdom finally comes on the earth, becomes viable, and becomes active, Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, ruling primarily the nation of Israel, the greatest nation going into the Kingdom, and also as the worldwide ruler. As believers rule and reign with Him, their level of responsibility is going to be based on their faithfulness here. Therefore, it behooves believers to labor, work, and serve for the reward, not for salvation, which cannot be earned anyway. Les notes most people would rather be active than sitting on the sideline.
