Yet, as with Adam and Eve, God's gift of free will requires a choice. Adam and Eve were never hungry or uncomfortable; they had the most beautiful environment imaginable. Satan could not tempt them with a better spouse, so he used the only thing left—being like God. In the Kingdom economy, the same issue arises. Though conditions are perfect, the people must show that the old Adamic nature has been able to make a choice, and so Satan has to be released.
